To attend the PCA/ACA National Conference, do these three important things:

1) Become a member of the PCA/ACA.

2) Register for the Conference.

3) Make hotel arrangements.

1) Become A Member of the PCA/ACA

To attend the national conference and to give papers, individuals must be a member of the PCA or ACA or both for 2009-10. Because the Blackwell Company publishes the organizations two journals, theJournal of Popular Cultureand the Journal of American Culture, membership applications go to that company.

To join, simply click on the link for journal to which you would like to subscribe. Both websites allow you to choose to receive both journals. You will be paying (either by check or credit card) directly to Blackwell Publishing.

2) Register for the Conference

New Rates for 2009: PCA/ACA is pleased to announce a new Early-Bird rate for the various categories of conference attendees.  The goal is to encourage people to register early so that the program can be finalized sooner.  The new Early-Bird rate runs until December 31, after which the price will increase by $25. For very late registrants, the cost of registration increases by an additional $25 starting March 28th.

By Credit or Debit Card: We encourage credit card or debit card registration because it's easy, convenient, and fast for you and saves PCA/ACA money. Please click on the link below to register by credit card at our easy-to-use, convenient, and secure site, Acteva.
