The Body and Physical Difference

The Body and Physical Difference examines the multitude of meanings society writes onto bodies, the mechanisms used to write those meanings, and the impact those meanings have on bodies who operate within those cultures.   Broadly diversified in its focus, this area of popular culture welcomes submissions from all areas of study that use the body as a lens with which to interrogate cultural experience.
